Four Kurious started as a notebook in Barcelona: one question a week about why people do the opposite of what they say. It grew into seven lenses, a book, and a small studio.
Why it exists
Four Kurious was founded by Sara, a student in Barcelona who kept filling notebooks with the same question: why do we act against our own interest, and tell ourselves such a good story about it?
The answers were scattered across novels, philosophy and psychology. Most of it was either too academic to finish or too simple to trust. So we started turning each idea into something you can actually use: a lens with a name, an example from real life, and an object that keeps it in view.
Everything is designed in Barcelona and printed in short runs. We would rather sell out than throw books away.

- Orders ship from Barcelona in 2–4 working days. Shipping cost is shown at checkout.
- Pre-orders of book N°01 ship from 23 April 2027.
- You can return anything within 14 days of delivery, unused and in its packaging.

Do I need to have read philosophy?+
No. Each lens is explained with everyday examples. The classics are there if you want to go further.
When does the book ship?+
Pre-orders ship from 23 April 2027, Sant Jordi. Everything else ships in 2–4 working days.
What is a Pocket Lens?+
A small A6 test edition of a possible next book. The one people buy most becomes book N°02.
Do you work with schools?+
Yes. Four Kurious Studio runs term-long projects where students publish their own book, posters or cards.
